This non-dairy almond milk is the bomb! It's a great substitute for cow's milk. Make this and you'll ditch the preservatives and additives sometimes found in store-bought almond milk. Great for coffee creamer, add to smoothies, or even drinking as is!
Soak the almonds in filtered water, covered, for at least 8 hours (or overnight).
Discard the water the almonds were soaking in. Rinse the almonds through a sieve and transfer to a blender.
Add filtered water, the rest of the ingredients, and blend on high for about 2 to 3 minutes.
Use cheese cloth and pour the almond liquid through it into a medium-sized container with a pouring spout. Squeeze the excess liquid out to add to the milk.
Transfer your almond milk into a container with a lid. Store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
