Description

Technically a nut, hemp seeds are very nutritious. They have a mild, nutty flavor and are often referred to as hemp hearts. They contain over 30% of good fat. Hemp seeds are rich in essential fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6).

Maca root has calcium, potassium, iron, and iodine. It's known as Peruvian ginseng and touted for its ability to improve energy and boost your libido.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup berries, frozen
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 3-4 cup kale or spinach
  • 2 tsp hemp seeds
  • 2 tsp maca root powder
  • 2 tsp cacao powder
  • 1 cup coconut milk (or enough to cover)
Instructions
  1. Place the berries into the bottom of a high speed blender.  Add the rest of the ingredients and the coconut milk last. Blend and enjoy!
