In a large pot, on medium-high heat, cook the sausage and ground chicken. Break up the meat with a spoon as you stir.
Add the onion and the red pepper when the meat is almost fully cooked. Stir for about 2 minutes and add the garlic, jalapeƱo, spices and Worcestershire sauce. Continue cooking and stirring for 2 to 3 more minutes.
Add the tomatoes, sweet potato, and water. Mix everything together and bring this to a boil. Lower the temperature to a simmer and cover. Cook for 20 minutes and dish up.
