If you're using an ice cream maker, you may need to place the ice cream container in the freezer about an hour beforehand—follow the directions.
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until combined, except for the chocolate chips.
Pour into an ice cream maker. Mine churns for about 25 minutes to reach the consistency I like. Try not to devour all at once! Freeze leftovers and cover.
Note: If you don't have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container and freeze for 4 to 5 hours. Stir every 30 minutes for the first hour.
