Description

This tastes like real ice cream! Chocolate creamy dream—add chocolate chips too if you want!

Ingredients

14 oz can full fat coconut milk
14 oz can coconut cream
2 tbsp vanilla extract
¹⁄₂ cup maple syrup or coconut sugar
¹⁄₈ tsp sea salt (or Hymalayan salt)
¹⁄₂ cup cacao powder
optional: ¹⁄₂ cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions

If you're using an ice cream maker, you may need to place the ice cream container in the freezer about an hour beforehand—follow the directions.
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until combined, except for the chocolate chips.
Pour into an ice cream maker. Mine churns for about 25 minutes to reach the consistency I like. Try not to devour all at once! Store into a freezer safe container for leftovers and cover.
